This painting came to me during a guided meditation in the summer of 2022. I participated in a spiritual summer camp, and we were guided through the Lion’s Gate Portal. This astrological term describes “the alignment of the sun in Leo, the star Sirius, the constellation Orion’s Belt and the Earth”. This Lioness appeared before me, floating in the universe and moving towards me. I just knew I needed to capture her image and vibrant energy.
