Inspired by my favorite plant baby; whom I refer to as Mama Sprout. She is a large monstera that I’ve had for over 5 years now.
I experimented with texture in this piece, using only a palette knife for the leaf. The dripping background was sparked by a sad mood and represents the misting these plants love. Whenever I mist Mama Sprout, I believe her spirit is transported back to the rainforest!
